I did learn something though. I didn't realize you could even put a bike rack on a motorcycle. I've never seen it done. Your planning is certainly extensive, if you have scheduled in your bike maintenance along the way. I think of Walt Whitman "Afoot and lighthearted, I take to the open road." Last year, Tony and I were supposed to ride the Beartooth Highway from Red Lodge into Cooke City, but Tony was in bed sick for three days at his brother's house in Whitehall MT.
